People of Remarkable Talent or P.O.R.T was established by Institute Darul Ridzuan, a think-tank organization own by the State Government of Perak. PORT was established in 2011 with the objective to bridge avenues and act as the platform for the young people of Perak as the agenda setter in creative art as well as cultural and heritage. PORT has organized many Arts and Arts related programs for the young people since.
To continue to increase recognition as well as to promote PORT as the centre for Art and Art related activities in Perak, the management team of PORT has planned to organize #TwtUpIpoh on April 28, 2012. The venue for the event will be held at PORT itself which is located at No 9, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Ipoh. The purpose of this event is to increase access of local young people in media communication across the multi-cultural context of Art, Cultural and Heritage. In addition to that, #TwtUpIpoh also aim to be the platform that will bridge avenues of knowledge with great insights and ideas for the development/growth of Perak’s Art, Cultural and Heritage.
The impact of this event will gradually increase the growth of ICT development and services among young people of Perak especially on Social-Network services as Information, Communication and Education will be the strategic direction for #TwtUpIpoh 2012. Your participation in this event will scale, widen scope and maximize impact of PORT initiatives across the dynamic country of Malaysia.
