IPOH, — The Perak Tenpin Bowling Association will organise the 2012 Visit Perak Year Bowling Championship, which offers RM35,000 prize money for the winners.
Its president, Datuk Ishak Mohamad said the seven-day championship would begins next Monday at the Ampang Superbowl, Ipoh Parade and participation was open to all junior and senior players.
However, the national bowlers are not allowed to take part in the championships, he told reporters after a friendly tournament between the association and media, here, recently.
Ishak said four categories would be contested namely men’s junior, men’s open, women’s junior and women’s open.
Those interested to participate in the championships can come to the Ampang Superbowl from April 23 to 27, beginning 10am for registration and to determine the masters qualifying round.
