Coral Bay is one of the best west coast beaches, just north of Teluk Nipah, with clear emerald-green water due to the presence of limestone. Even though it is mostly clean and calm, it is rarely crowded. A great place to watch the sunset.
It may not be as bustling as Maho Beach or as majestic as Perhentian Long Beach but Coral Beach is the best that Malaysia’s West Coast has to offer. The sea neighboring Mentangor and Giam islands beckon not too far away.
Although separated from Teluk Nipah by a tiny forested cape, Coral Beach is somehow overlooked by visitors who prefer to partake in watersports like canoeing and snorkeling.
