Malaysia’s first model car museum, Dream Big World located on top of the Time Tunnel in Jalan Panglima, Ipoh. The museum has more than 500 model cars including James Dean’s Porsche 550 Spyder, Back To The Future’s DeLorean DMC-12 and Queen Elizabeth’s Bentley Bentayga.
The owner of the museum, Elvin Chew, started his collection at the tender age of 12 after having a great time playing and assembling Japan’s famous model kit, Tamiya.
Aside from displaying his precious model car collection, visitors can also enjoy reading the history and facts about cars including the story behind the name ‘Mercedes-Benz’ and more.
Aside from model car collections, Elvin also has a few airplane models that he placed in the middle section of the museum complete with an airport-like ambiance. The third area of the museum sits models of tall buildings around the world.
