Ling Sen Tong is a majestic Taoist cave temple located at the foot of a limestone hill in Ipoh. The meaning of the name is Rock of Heavenly Spirits. Ling Sen Tong cave temple is located right next to Nam Thean Tong and Sam Poh Tong. It is right off at Jalan Gopeng which is located on the southern outskirts of Ipoh. The main temple is adorned with many statues of various different designs – there are various deities, animals and other characters from Chinese folklore. The garden in front is decorated with colorful statues of characters from Chinese mythology. One such example is the Monkey King from the classic tale Journey to the West.
