Sarang Art Hub is a hipster cafe that is located at the Rest House of Tanjung Malim or Rumah Rehat Tanjung Malim near KFC and Pizza Hut. This restaurant was established in September 2015 to enliven this area by famous Malaysian Film Director Mamat Khalid. This eatery still maintains the concept of a rest house. If you are interested you can rent here overnight.
Sarang means nest in Malay so they named the cafe as Sarang Art Hub(Nest of Art Hub). If you look at the interior layout of this shop, it is decorated with unique and artistic arts. You can find various types of art such as sculpture art, design art, fine art, music art and food art.
Sarang Art Hub serves local and western foods. Don’t be surprised if you find some famous Malaysian actors’ names or movies on the menu. Dishes were named by Malaysian movie director who happen to be the restaurant’s owner. Examples of dishes name on the menu include Mee Goreng Pak Jabit and Nasi Goreng Kampung Pisang.
