Ipoh – The hotel industry is affected with The movement control order (MCO), which was enforced to stop the chain of Covid-19 infections in Malaysia.
Earlier in April The Tower Regency Hotel and Apartment Sdn Bhd had announced that they closed on April 30 due to financial problems that the company has been facing for the past three years, which have been aggravated by the enforcement of MCO.

Following that The Kinta Riverfront Hotel and Suites decided to close its doors due to financial problems exacerbated by the movement control order.

Hotel Travelodge Ipoh, one of the Plenitude Bhd hotels is temporarily closing down due to the pandemic.

Not only that, Syeun Hotel Ipoh, also decided to shut down their hotel permanently at the end of May.

Safety has become top priority during these troubled times. Let’s all work together to overcome this pandemic.
Sad to hear that the hotels are closing.
