Eid Mubarak also known as Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a religious festival celebrated by the Muslim community. On the ninth month (Ramadan), Muslim will faste throughout the month. Fasting is an act to signify the equality of hunger among the rich and poor in terms of asking for forgiveness for their past sin. They begin their fasting at dawn and end at sunset.
Eid Mubarak is celebrated on 1st and 2nd Syawal. Family members, relatives and friends are invited back home and served different kinds of foods while spend time together. However, this year the festival will be celebrated differently. Due to the pandemic our Prime Minister has advised everyone to celebrate within our family that are already at home. We are not allowed to visit our friends and family away from home or return to our hometown. Hope that we can break the COVID-19 chain together.
