Lang Mountain or known as Gunung Lang is a recreational park that located at Jalan Kuala Kangsar besides the North South Highway. The park has a natural scenic view as its backdrop, comprising of limestone hills and lake.
Sultan Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, officially opened this park. Ipoh City Council and National Landscape Department develop the park jointly in 1999. The main attractions here are the unexplored limestone hills range and lake.
There is a variety of colourful bougainvilleas plants, and 85 heliconia species, which were especially imported from overseas along the park’s main access.
The visitors can take a boat ride around the lake, which was use to be a mine before reaching the park area. The hills at the park is decorated with natural flora and fauna.
